Fun Day
The “Fun Day” is a day that some groups choose to use to sight-see or visit a tourist attraction.
A list of activities will be provided in the trip-planning process.
These are extra costs and not included in the per-person cost.
Extracurricular Activities
These activities are up to the team to cover:
- Souvenirs
- Meals outside of SEPE International pre-scheduled meals
- Purchases at shops or grocery stores
Fun Day Activities: Honduras
Kayaking
Kayak on the largest lake in Honduras
Cost – $10.00 per person
Waterfall
Visit Pulhapanzak, a 140 ft waterfall in Honduras.
Cost – $10.00 per person
Additional Activities at the Waterfall:
The payment for these activities will be up to the church team or each individual.
- Zip lining is $20.00 per person.
- Hiking behind the waterfall is $15.00 per person.
- River Tubing – tube down the river starting upstream and ending at the waterfall. $20.00 per person
*The guides work off tips. If you would like to tip them, a few dollars in cash is good.

Finca Las Glorias
Have lunch at a beautiful park on the lake and take a boat ride around the lake.
Cost – $20.00 per person
Additional Activities at Finca Las Glorias:

- Horseback Riding – Estimated Cost – $10.00
- Mechanical bull – Estimated Cost – $5.00
Hiking
(3 & 6 hr options)
Hike through a Honduran forest to a waterfall.
Cost – $10.00 per person
Tour of Comayagua
A tour of the original capital of Honduras. The tour will consist of 3 main locations in Comayagua: the oldest working clock in the Americas, the first president’s home and museum, and a park with a cypress maze.
Cost – $20.00 a person
Coffee Tour
Embark on a captivating coffee tour journey, tracing the bean’s origin from lush plantations to the hands of skilled roasters. Witness the meticulous harvesting, processing, and roasting stages. Culminate your adventure with a delightful tasting experience at a cozy local café, savoring the rich flavors of freshly brewed coffee.

Fun Day Activities: Mexico
Tour of Downtown
Walk by the U.S border wall and experience the culture and cuisine of Northern Mexico.
Cost – $10.00 per person
Hike
The Pirinola mount is a two mile hike that is known for its panoramic views of Nogales and the surrounding desert area. The top of the hill has an iconic shape resembling a spinning top which gives it its name.

Hacienda San Luis
Visit a beautiful garden park with pools, playgrounds, and a zoo.
Cost – $10.00 per person
