Customs: Honduras

When entering Honduras, this is the form and information you will need.

CUSTOMS FORM

  1. Fill out the customs form.
  2. Save the QR code as a screenshot or PDF.
  3. Present the QR code to the attendant before entering the baggage claim area.
  4. Answer to: Foreseen Address
    • For MEDA: Siguatepeque, Barrio Las Americas, calle hacia cancha de futbol panteras 12111.
    • For Rio Dulce: Rio dulce Talanga Francisco Morazan, calle hacia Olancho 600 meteos de la carretera principal.

PASSPORT CHECK

  1. Carry the permission to travel for a minor with you at all times, in case someone asks for it.
  2. You will need your passport.
  3. Your fingerprints will be scanned. Follow the instructions you are given by the agent. He or she may or may not speak English.
  4. You may be asked for your phone number and other identifying information.
  5. Make sure to receive your passport back from the agent before leaving Passport Check.
  6. If they ask where you will be staying, the answer is:
    • For MEDA: Siguatepeque, Barrio Las Americas, calle hacia cancha de futbol panteras 12111.
    • For Rio Dulce: Rio dulce Talanga Francisco Morazan, calle hacia Olancho 600 meteos de la carretera principal.

CUSTOMS/BAGGAGE CLAIM

COMAYAGUA (XPL)

  1. Place your personal items through a scanner.
  2. Present the Customs Form QR code to an attendant.
  3. If they need to check your bag, they will place a colored tape on it.
  4. Retrieve your luggage from the conveyor belt.
  5. There are tables to the right of the exit; if your luggage has tape on it, they will stop you and ask you to check it.
  6. Once they have checked your luggage, pass through the glass doors to enter Honduras.
  7. DO NOT USE THE BAGGAGE HELPERS. They try to take advantage of people and are not helpful.

SAN PEDRO SULA (SAP)

  1. After the Passport Check, go straight to the baggage claim.
  2. They will scan all your luggage. They will direct you to some tables to the left if they need to check something.
  3. After passing through the scanner, the exit will be to your left to enter Honduras.
  4. If baggage helpers assist you where the baggage claim is, they can help get you through the line faster without checking your luggage. However, you will need to give them a tip later.
