On our gap year mission trip, you’ll grow in faith, serve vibrant Spanish-speaking communities, and gain cross-cultural ministry experience. Through the experience of missions and evangelism, you’ll deepen your walk with Christ and make a lasting impact.

Gap-year participants enter the program at any session start date and attend three, consecutive, 3-month program dates to complete the gap year.
Applications must be submitted two months before the program start date.

- Transportation
- Spanish classes – 12 hours a week.
- Option for intensive Spanish classes – 20 hours a week.

The proceeds from your contribution are used to generate transformational pastoral impact in the Spanish-speaking world through the SEPE seminary programs.

Ideal for recent graduates or those taking a year to explore their calling, the program offers an opportunity to experience missions firsthand and contribute meaningfully to communities in Honduras, Mexico, and beyond.
Affordable christian gap year programs
SEPE International’s gap year program offers a variety of options designed to fit different interests and goals. Participants can choose from several program types, including Spanish studies, cultural immersion, and hands-on ministry placements. Each type focuses on building a strong biblical foundation, developing cross-cultural understanding, and practical service in local communities. The program duration is a Gap Year (9-10 Months). There are three options: You can serve just in Honduras or just in Mexico, or you can serve in our Hybrid Gap Year program that allows you to serve in both countries. The cost for the Gap Year in a single location is $16,800.00, while the Hybrid program is $18,500.00.
